Teisha C. Johnson is a nationally recognized antitrust attorney and Partner in Baker McKenzie’s Washington, D.C. office, where she advises leading multinational companies on complex competition, merger control, government investigation, consumer protection and e-discovery matters. She also serves as North American Co-Chair of the firm’s global Industrials, Manufacturing & Transportation group, helping guide cross-border strategy for businesses operating in highly regulated and rapidly evolving industries.
Johnson has extensive experience navigating U.S. and international antitrust law, representing clients before the Federal Trade Commission, U.S. Department of Justice Antitrust Division, and state and foreign competition authorities. Her work spans technology, healthcare, energy, finance, chemicals and transportation, with an increasing focus on emerging competition issues involving artificial intelligence, algorithmic pricing and digital markets. Her experience as former in-house antitrust counsel gives her a distinctly commercial perspective when helping companies balance regulatory requirements with business objectives. Among her significant matters, Johnson has advised ALDI on its acquisition of Southeastern Grocers, Sika AG on its approximately $6 billion acquisition of MBCC Group, and Owens Corning on the approximately $755 million divestiture of its glass reinforcement business.
Her leadership has earned recognition from Who’s Who Legal as a Competition Future Leader from 2022 through 2025, and she was shortlisted for Antitrust Lawyer of the Year by Women in Business Law in 2022. She was also named a Leadership Council on Legal Diversity Fellow in 2021 and recognized as a Competition Future Leader–Partner in the 2026 Lexology Index.
Johnson earned her bachelor’s degree from Duke University and her J.D. from Georgetown University Law Center. She is active in Women in eDiscovery, the Maryland State Bar Association, the American Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section and AI Task Force, and the National Bar Association’s Antitrust Law Section.
