Andrea S. Anderson

Andrea S. Anderson is a dedicated and formidable advocate who believes deeply in using the law as a powerful tool to serve and uplift others. Admitted to practice in 2017, Ms. Anderson began her career as a criminal defense attorney in her hometown of Connecticut, where she quickly established herself as a tenacious and compassionate representative for her clients. She later continued her commitment to justice as an Assistant Public Defender with the Maryland Office of the Public Defender, where she fiercely advocated on behalf of her clients and steadfastly upheld the principles of fairness and equity within the legal system.

Today, Ms. Anderson serves as House Counsel for Progressive Insurance, focusing her practice on Insurance Defense and Criminal Defense. Her courtroom experience is extensive and distinguished, having successfully tried more than 100 bench and jury trials. She is licensed to practice law in Connecticut, Maryland, and the District of Columbia.

Beyond her professional achievements, Ms. Anderson’s leadership and service further distinguish her career. She currently serves as the President of the Washington Bar Association Educational Foundation, Inc. and maintains active membership in the Washington Bar Association, Inc. and the National Bar Association, contributing meaningfully to the advancement of the legal community.
