Jazzmyn M. Bigsby, Esq.

Jazzmyn M. Bigsby is an attorney anchored in advocacy and guided by faith as a dedicated servant of her community.

She is licensed to practice law in California and the District of Columbia. She currently works for an AmLaw 200 law firm where she advises and represents California public agencies on various municipal law issues with a focus on Public Records Act law and litigation.

She earned her Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center, in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She served as President of the Latina Law Students Association and Managing Student Attorney for the Juvenile Law Clinic where she cultivated her commitment to service, advocacy, and leadership.

In August 2026, she was recognized by the Chicago 300 Black Women organization as one of the Top 30 Influential Women of 2026 and serves as a member of the San Diego Lawyers’ Club Diverse Women’s Committee.

Through her legal practice, leadership, and service, Jazzmyn is passionate about mentoring aspiring attorneys, especially those navigating unconventional pathways to the bar.
