Kendyll Locke

Kendyll Locke is a dynamic public servant, political strategist, and community leader whose career has been defined by a commitment to public service, civic engagement, and meaningful impact. His work sits at the intersection of community, policy, politics, and public service, where he helps translate ideas into action and connect communities with the institutions that serve them.

A proud native of Fort Worth, Texas, Kendyll began working on political campaigns at just 12 years old, gaining experience on local, state, and federal campaigns across Texas. His early introduction to public service grew into a career of leadership, including previously serving as Vice Chair of the Tarrant County Democratic Party and President of the Tarrant County Black Democrats. He also continues to serve his community through nonprofit leadership as a Board Member of Dallas City Homes, Millennial Board Member of The Black Academy of Arts and Letters (TBAAL), and Advocacy Chair for the Dallas-Fort Worth Urban League Young Professionals.

In June 2021, at just 18 years old and entering his third semester of college, Kendyll was appointed Chief of Staff to Fort Worth City Councilmember Dr. Jared Williams, becoming the youngest person to hold the position in the city’s history.

In November 2022, following his work managing Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett’s successful campaign, Kendyll moved to Washington, D.C., and was appointed Deputy Chief of Staff in her congressional office representing Texas’s 30th Congressional District. At just 20, his appointment made him one of the youngest Deputy Chiefs of Staff and senior staffers in the history of the United States Congress.

Kendyll earned a B.A. in Political Science from the University of North Texas and remains deeply connected to the communities that shaped him. His guiding principle is simple: impact over influence.
