Charae Jenkins

She currently serves as VP of Marketing at MOD Pizza, leading marketing for a 440-location restaurant company across brand, creative, loyalty, social, and integrated marketing. Over her career, Charae has held leadership roles with some of the country’s most recognized brands, including Chipotle, Raising Cane’s, &pizza, Sky Zone, and the Washington Wizards. Her experience spans more than 3,500 restaurant locations, giving her a unique perspective on building brands at scale while staying culturally relevant.

Charae is known for connecting strategy, creativity, culture, and commercial results, specializing in turning consumer insight into marketing people actually care about while keeping the business objective at the center. Her work spans brand strategy, product and menu launches, loyalty, customer acquisition, cultural marketing, integrated campaigns, and high-impact brand platforms.

She is also founder of CCJ Marketing Group, a boutique consultancy helping brands and leaders sharpen strategy, elevate marketing, and turn big ideas into action.

Charae leads with a mix of strategic rigor and directness. She believes great marketing starts with genuinely understanding people, not just data points, and that the best leaders create space for their teams to do bold, unexpected work while staying anchored to business results. A proud Columbus, Ohio native who has called the DC area home for two decades, Charae is also mother to her six-year-old son, Carter.
