Bria Kemp
Bria Kemp is an Indiana attorney with extensive experience in criminal defense, family law, and complex litigation. A former Deputy Prosecuting Attorney with the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office, she served in the Major Felony Firearms and Narcotics Unit, where she prosecuted more than 500 criminal cases and gained substantial trial and courtroom experience. Her prosecutorial background provides her with a unique perspective in defending clients facing criminal charges, including felony and misdemeanor offenses, firearm and drug cases, probation violations, traffic matters, and expungements. Ms. Kemp also represents clients in family law matters, including divorce, custody, child support, paternity, relocation, and complex family law disputes.
Ms. Kemp earned her Bachelor of Arts from Michigan State University in 2017 and her Juris Doctor from the IU Robert H. McKinney School of Law in 2021. During law school, she served in the Wrongful Conviction Clinic, contributing to post-conviction relief investigations, and received honors recognizing her leadership, academic achievement, and commitment to public service. Her professional accomplishments include the National Bar Association’s 40 Under 40 Nation’s Best Advocates Award, Excellence in Service Award, Trailblazer Award, and multiple Young Lawyers Division leadership awards. In May 2026, Ms. Kemp was admitted to practice before the Supreme Court of the United States, further expanding her federal practice credentials.
Beyond her legal practice, Ms. Kemp is committed to professional leadership and service. She has held leadership positions within the National Bar Association Young Lawyers Division and served in diversity, equity, and inclusion leadership within the Marion County Prosecutor’s Office. She approaches each matter with careful preparation, strategic analysis, and effective advocacy on behalf of her clients.
