James Roberts

James L. Roberts grew up in the heart of Decatur, GA. He attended Albany State University and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Criminal Justice in 2007. James also graduated from Southern University and A&M College with a Master’s Degree in Political Science in 2012. In 2015, James earned his Juris Doctor from Southern University Law Center.

Upon obtaining his law degree, James moved back home to Georgia and gained invaluable experience regarding personal injury at The Reed Law Firm for several years. As the associate attorney, James handled hundreds of cases obtaining favorable settlements worth several million dollars.

With a strong foundation in customer service and his love for helping others, James faithfully opened and became the Owner and Managing Attorney of The Law Offices of James L. Roberts, P.C., d/b/a/ J.L. Roberts Law. Since opening the doors in 2021, in the midst of the COVID-19 pandemic, James has been able to help secure over several million dollars worth of settlements for his clients.

James enjoys spending time with family and friends and is a proud fan of the Atlanta Falcons, Atlanta Hawks, Atlanta Braves, and the Atlanta United. He is also a proud member of several organizations, including, but not limited to the State Bar of Georgia, Young Lawyer’s Division State Bar of Georgia, and Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity Incorporated.
