Karmen A. Jones

Karmen A. Jones, born in Memphis and raised in Marion, Arkansas, attended the University of Tennessee, where she became the institution’s first Black female Student Body President. She later earned a Master’s in Public Administration from the University of Pennsylvania. Jones has worked at the Hall Law Group and the Mississippi Court of Appeals, and held various communications roles supporting Black women candidates for judgeships. Her experience also includes serving as a Communications Staffer for Congressman Dwight Evans, a Federal Public Affairs Specialist, and a consultant with the Mississippi Volunteer Lawyers Project. She is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
