Kendall Mitchell
Kendall Mitchell is a strategic communications professional with extensive experience in message development, professional and strategic branding, social media management, media relations and crisis communications.
She has held senior communications roles in the executive and legislative branches. Prior to joining Bracewell, Kendall was the director of communications and chief spokesperson for a Member of Congress. She previously served as a public affairs specialist at the US Department of Justice (DOJ). In that role, she helped develop communications strategies for the Civil Rights and the Environment and Natural Resources Divisions, prepared top appointees for interviews and media engagements, supported speech writing, and served as a public affairs liaison between the DOJ and key partners and stakeholders.
Kendall began her career on Capitol Hill, serving in various roles as an advisor to Congresswoman Yvette D. Clarke (NY-09), including as deputy press secretary, official speech writer, spokesperson and social media strategist.

Interesting Career Note: Kendall has spent majority of her career working across two branches of government and was the Biden Administration’s first political appointee in the DOJ’s Office of Public Affairs.
Fast Fact: Growing up, Kendall was a classically trained dancer and a varsity-lettered swimmer.
