Eriade Williams is a dynamic strategist and attorney whose career bridges the worlds of government, law, and public affairs. She currently serves as Vice President of Government Affairs at News Corp, a global leader in diversified media, news, education, and information services. In this role, she leads engagement with policymakers and stakeholders, helping shape strategies that advance the company’s mission across industries and communities.
Before joining News Corp, Williams established herself as a trusted advisor in the consulting world. She was a Principal at theGROUP and later a Partner at ACG, two top-rated Washington, D.C.–based firms, where she counseled corporate and nonprofit clients in defense, manufacturing, transportation, energy, healthcare, technology, finance, and police reform. Her ability to navigate complex policy environments and provide actionable guidance earned her recognition as a leading voice in government relations.
Williams began her career on Capitol Hill, serving in senior roles with two prominent members of Congress. As Deputy Chief of Staff to Congressman Robert Brady (D-PA), she advised on legislative and political strategy for the Philadelphia region, and as Press Secretary and primary spokesperson for Congressman Albert Wynn (D-MD), she managed communications on a broad range of policy priorities.
A proud product of Howard University, Williams earned her B.A. before completing an M.A. in Political Science at Georgia State University and a J.D. at American University’s Washington College of Law. She is admitted to practice law in Maryland and has represented indigent clients as a court-appointed attorney in felony and misdemeanor cases. With a career marked by versatility and impact, Williams continues to advance her commitment to public service, advocacy, and effective leadership at the highest levels.
