Timothy Carter

Timothy (TJ) Carter, PharmD, is a Medical Information Specialist at Eversana, where he is responsible for disseminating accurate and timely medical information to healthcare practitioners. Concurrently, he serves as the Continuing Education Chair for the National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA), developing educational content for pharmacists dedicated to serving underserved populations. Driven by a core belief that knowledge is empowerment, TJ leverages his expertise in communication and clinical research to advance public health and promote health equity.

TJ’s commitment to community care is the foundation of his career. Before his current roles, he served as a community pharmacist, building on experience that began at the age of 19 as a volunteer at a Federally Qualified Health Center’s pharmacy. His deep understanding of the challenges facing vulnerable patients, gained from years of direct service and his early involvement with the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA), directly informs his volunteer leadership with NPhA. For his exceptional dedication, TJ has been honored with the Young Pharmacist of the Year Award.

Dr. Carter holds an Associate of Arts in Pharmacy and a Doctorate of Pharmacy (PharmD) from the University of Cincinnati. His commitment to uplifting his community extends beyond the pharmacy; he is an avid grill master who regularly donates barbeque meals to those in need.
