Aaliyah Mallard

Dr. Aaliyah K. Mallard is a pharmacist and entrepreneur whose work sits at the intersection of medication expertise, patient access and healthcare innovation. With nearly two decades of pharmacy experience, Mallard is the founder of Halo-Rx Meds, a telehealth platform focused on expanding access to weight-management care while making the treatment process more transparent and easier for patients to navigate.

Mallard’s pharmacy career spans health-system pharmacy, managed care, formulary management and medication management, giving her firsthand insight into the clinical, financial and systemic barriers patients can encounter when accessing medications. She founded Halo-Rx Meds to address those challenges through a patient-centered model that combines access to GLP-1 treatment with medication education, lifestyle resources and ongoing support. Drawing on her clinical background, Mallard has placed medication expertise, patient education and price transparency at the center of the company’s approach. Her entrepreneurial journey and the launch of Halo-Rx Meds have been featured by AFROTECH.

Mallard earned her Doctor of Pharmacy degree from Florida A&M University College of Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences and completed a pharmacy practice residency following graduation. She is also a proud member of Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated.

Through Halo-Rx Meds and her broader work in pharmacy, Mallard is helping demonstrate the expanding role pharmacists can play as healthcare innovators and entrepreneurs.
