Absalom Bolling

Absalom Bolling is an emerging pharmacy leader whose work focuses on health equity, advocacy and service. He currently serves as National President-Elect of the Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA), the student affiliate of the National Pharmaceutical Association, where he is helping advance the role student pharmacists can play in addressing health disparities and improving access to quality care in underserved communities.

A Washington, D.C. native, Bolling is a third-year PharmD candidate at Howard University College of Pharmacy. He earned his B.A. in Communications with a minor in Chemistry from the University of Memphis in 2024. His long-term aspirations include becoming a PharmD-JD intellectual property attorney, bringing together his interests in science, healthcare, communications and law.

Bolling’s leadership extends beyond pharmacy. He serves as St. Jude National Vice-Chairman for Kappa Alpha Psi Fraternity, Inc., contributing to the fraternity’s longstanding philanthropic relationship with St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital and efforts surrounding its $2 million fundraising pledge. His work and service earned him recognition as a 2024 U.S. Black Chambers Power 50 Under 40 honoree.

Bolling is also a recipient of Kappa Alpha Psi’s Guy Levis Grant Award, the fraternity’s highest meritorious honor for an undergraduate member. With leadership experience spanning healthcare advocacy and philanthropy, Bolling is building a multidisciplinary career rooted in service and a commitment to creating meaningful impact at every stage of his journey.
