Alexis Miller
Alexis Miller is a Product Manager at JPMorgan Chase, where she works at the intersection of strategic partnerships, technology, and marketing within Consumer & Community Banking. An attorney and entrepreneur, she has built a career defined by using business tools to expand opportunity for underrepresented communities.
Ms. Miller’s path to JPMorgan Chase wound through venture capital, law, and international development. She began her business career as a Venture Partner at Sustainable Botanicals International, advising raw-materials companies on asset management, before launching her own venture fund, Lokono Capital, to support female-owned agricultural businesses across the Caribbean, South America, and Africa. As an attorney, she negotiated crop prices and cooperative farm areas to be managed by Caribbean farmers who then sold their raw materials to large cosmetic companies. She also handled municipal workers’ compensation cases for three of New Jersey’s largest cities.
Ms. Miller’s signature contribution has been building bridges between capital and the communities too often overlooked by it, channeling investment toward women entrepreneurs in emerging agricultural markets and bringing that same equity-minded lens into her legal and corporate work.
She holds a Master of Business Administration from Cornell University, where she completed the Sustainable Global Enterprise immersion and the eLab Entrepreneurship Accelerator, received a Forté Fellowship, was inducted into The Consortium, and studied abroad at HEC Paris. She earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School, specializing in Business and Corporate Law, and her Bachelor of Science from Rutgers University–New Brunswick in Public Policy, with a concentration in Community Development and a minor in Critical Race and Ethnic Studies.
