Dr. Aundrea Stevenson is a board-certified internal medicine physician whose work focuses on delivering comprehensive, patient-centered care throughout the Washington, D.C. area. With a special interest in women’s health, Stevenson is committed to helping patients achieve their health goals at every stage of life while building relationships grounded in trust, communication and mutual respect.
Stevenson earned her medical degree from Indiana University School of Medicine in 2011 and completed her internal medicine residency at The George Washington University Hospital in 2014. Known for her approachable and thoughtful style of care, she views the physician’s role as both trusted partner and patient advocate. Her approach emphasizes clear communication, shared decision-making and personalized treatment plans that reflect each patient’s individual needs, values and goals. Beyond the examination room, Stevenson has led numerous women’s wellness webinars addressing preventive health, weight management, gynecological disorders, cardiovascular disease and infectious diseases.
Her commitment to healthcare extends into professional service and mentorship. Stevenson is a member of the American Medical Association, serves on the Washington, D.C. Eye Health Advisory Group and mentors students interested in pursuing careers in medicine, helping cultivate the next generation of healthcare professionals.
Outside of her clinical and community work, Stevenson enjoys attending sporting events, spending time outdoors and creating memories with her sons. She is also a proud 25-year member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated, reflecting a longstanding commitment to sisterhood, service and community.
