Candice Green
Candice Green is a rising voice in the legal world whose career is defined by determination, service, and style. After earning her Bachelor of Arts in English (with emphases in Pre‑Law) and her Juris Doctor from Case Western Reserve University School of Law in 2019, she moved to Los Angeles with no preexisting ties—just ambition and purpose. At CWRU, she made history as the first Black Student Body President, showing early on her commitment to leadership and representation.
Within a few short years as a practicing attorney, Candice’s drive and skill have culminated in her current role as Senior Counsel at Employer Defense Group (EDG) in Los Angeles, where she joined the firm in 2025. There she represents employers in workers’ compensation defense, harnessing her expertise to address everything from basic claims to complex and catastrophic cases.
Beyond her legal practice, Candice is deeply rooted in community work. She has served as Co‑Chair of Young Lawyers and Youth Community Chair on the Langston Bar Board, reflecting her passion for mentoring and youth empowerment. She has also held positions on the Los Angeles County Bar Association Board and the Black Women Lawyers Board, and contributes to Black College Expo. Community isn’t just important to Candice—it is central, especially when she can combine purpose with style.
On the personal side, Candice’s story is one of bold moves—leaving behind familiarity for opportunity, of connecting with people and causes, of insisting that excellence and grace go hand in hand. Her education, leadership roles, and community involvement mark her not only as a skilled attorney, but as someone whose impact is already being felt beyond the courtroom.
