Chantess Robinson

Chantess Robinson is a rising political strategist and communications leader whose work sits at the nexus of public policy, equity, and civic engagement. She currently serves as the Residential Proctor for the U.S. Senate Page Program under the Office of the Sergeant at Arms, where she oversees daily operations, mentorship, and the holistic development of the Senate’s future leaders. In this role, she cultivates a bipartisan and inclusive environment where civic education and leadership are central, helping young people from across the country understand congressional operations and their own potential for public service.

Before stepping into her current position, Chantess played an active part in the Senate Black Legislative Staff Caucus (SBLSC), which works to amplify and support Black staffers in the Senate, advocating for greater representation, professional growth, and equitable policies. She is known for her ability to build bridges across ideological lines, translate complex policy into accessible messaging, and engage community stakeholders in conversations about governance, equity, and civic responsibility.

Chantess holds a Master of Arts in Political Communication from American University’s School of Public Affairs (SPA), graduating in 2022. During her time at SPA, she honed skills in strategic messaging, digital media, and policy analysis—tools that she has brought into her work both on Capitol Hill and in mentoring young civic actors.

Her leadership and impact have been recognized across academic and legislative spheres—for example being featured in American University’s Alumni Spotlight, where her work with the Senate Page Program and SBLSC was highlighted. She is known for her commitment to fostering inclusion, lifting up voices from underrepresented communities, and preparing the next generation to engage meaningfully in democratic institutions.
