Charles Philippe Jean-Pierre is a Haitian-American artist, educator, and curator whose practice bridges cultural memory, abstraction, and global dialogue. His work explores themes of identity, diaspora, and the intersections of history and contemporary experience. A graduate of Howard University, he currently serves as an adjunct professor in the Chadwick A. Boseman College of Fine Arts, where he mentors the next generation of artists and cultural leaders.
In 2025, Jean-Pierre was honored as Art Educator of the Year by the National Art Education Association in Washington, D.C., a recognition that reflects his impact both inside and outside the classroom. Through his art, teaching, and curatorial work, he continues to expand conversations around culture, belonging, and community across local and international platforms.
