Cristina Beckles

Cristina A. Beckles is a dynamic legal professional with a passion for advocacy and community involvement. Admitted to practice in 2017, Ms. Beckles entered into the private sector and honed her civil litigation skills while working at a boutique law firm in Largo, Maryland. In 2021, Ms. Beckles established her own firm, where she provided tailored legal solutions to her clients in the areas of Landlord-Tenant, Real Estate, and Small Business matters. Currently, Ms. Beckles serves as an Associate Attorney at Lyons, Doughty & Veldhuis, P.C./P.A., a multi-state firm that is headquartered in Marlton, New Jersey. Ms. Beckles is apart of the firm’s Maryland team, where she focuses on consumer collections. While her practice is primarily focused in Maryland, she is also admitted in the District of Columbia.

In addition to her professional pursuits, Ms. Beckles is deeply engaged in her local community. She currently serves as the President for the Washington Bar Association, Inc., in addition to being a member of the Maryland State Bar Association, Inc., serving in an assortment of roles within the National Bar Association, being an active member of Alpha Kappa Alpha, Sorority, Inc., and serving as the Immediate Past President for the Washington Bar Association
Educational Foundation, Inc.

Ms. Beckles also operates her non-profit organization, showcasing
her altruistic nature and desire to make a positive impact beyond the courtroom. With her blend
