Danielle Covington

Danielle E. Covington, Esq. is a Maryland attorney whose practice focuses on family law and advocating for individuals and families navigating complex and deeply personal legal matters. As an Associate Attorney with The Murphy Law Firm, LLC, Danielle represents clients in custody, divorce, child support, protective order, guardianship, estate planning, and related matters throughout Maryland, from negotiation and mediation through contested hearings and trial. Raised in Prince George’s County and a proud product of Prince George’s County Public Schools, Danielle’s commitment to service is deeply rooted in the community that helped shape her.

Beyond her legal practice, Danielle serves on the Board of Directors of the Washington Bar Association Educational Foundation, where she is a member of the Community Service and Fundraising Committees. She is also a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, where her service has included mentoring, community outreach, food and school-supply drives, MLK Day of Service initiatives, and more. Her broader community involvement includes volunteer service focused on homelessness, youth enrichment, literacy, and access to legal services.

Danielle earned her Juris Doctor from The Catholic University of America, Columbus School of Law and her Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with a minor in Marketing, from Frostburg State University.
Outside of the courtroom, Danielle enjoys spending time with family and friends, particularly her nephews and godson, traveling, Pilates, and staying active.
