David Berry

David is an accomplished banking executive whose career reflects a commitment to leadership, growth, and community impact. Over more than 13 years at JPMorgan Chase, he has advanced through seven roles after beginning his career with the firm as an intern. In 2024, he was promoted from Vice President to Executive Director, becoming one of the firm’s youngest Executive Directors.

Previously, David led JPMorgan Chase’s Business Banking expansion in Maryland, helping strengthen support for businesses of all sizes while creating career opportunities and deepening the firm’s engagement across the state. Most recently, he relocated to Dallas, Texas, where he is helping build the firm’s Commercial Banking business development efforts across North Texas. Known for inspiring teams and delivering results, David champions an inclusive, collaborative culture centered on innovation, accountability, mentorship, and professional growth. He also helped launch a local chapter of the firm’s business resource group for Black employees.

Beyond banking, David mentors young adults and has served on numerous boards focused on expanding financial literacy, access, and education in Black and brown communities. A Charlotte, North Carolina native, he is a graduate of Morehouse College and a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Incorporated.

In recognition of his professional leadership and community service, David was named a 2025 Baltimore Business Journal 40 Under 40 honoree. His career reflects a guiding principle that success is most meaningful when it creates opportunities for others and strengthens the communities businesses serve.
