DeShaun Wise Porter

DeShaun N. Wise Porter is Vice President of Strategic Pathways & Recognition in the Travel & Tourism sector, where she leads enterprise-wide strategies that foster a diverse, engaged, and high-performing culture. Formerly Global Head of Diversity, Equity, Inclusion & Engagement and VP, HR Consulting, she partnered with C-suite leaders to drive transformational talent initiatives focused on attracting, developing, and retaining top performers.

A passionate change agent, DeShaun brings deep expertise in culture transformation, talent acceleration, and scalable development programs. Her global impact includes leading M&A integrations, implementing core HR technologies, and architecting high-performing learning ecosystems. At Kimberly-Clark, she spearheaded the first global learning management system and language-learning program, and advised on market-based compensation and HRIS implementation.

Her cultural dexterity and global business acumen have taken her to Seoul, Istanbul, and Medellin for short-term assignments, enriching her approach to inclusive leadership. DeShaun holds a degree in Multinational Business Operations and Finance from Florida State University, along with multiple professional certifications and industry awards.

She serves on the Board of Directors for FAIR Girls, Inc., and is an active member of SHRM, Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc., and The Links, Inc. A dedicated mentor and advocate for underserved youth, she is deeply engaged in her community.

DeShaun is also a two-time co-author. Her books—*The Book of Daddy-isms: Words from the Wise* and *Faith, Friendship & Fertility*—offer wisdom, courage, and hope drawn from personal experience. She resides in Washington, D.C., with her husband, Dr. Fernando A. Porter, their sons Princeton Antonio and Braylon Alexander, and their furbaby Marley. She finds joy in volunteering, reading, and exploring cultures through travel.
