Diaghilev Lubin-Farnell is an Assistant Attorney General for the State of Connecticut in the Financial and Revenue Services Section. In this role, she provides legal services for various state agencies including the Department of Revenue Services, the Department of Economic and Community Development and the Office of Policy and Management.
She also handles tobacco-related matters to enforce the Tobacco Master Settlement Agreement between fifty-two states and territories, and over forty participating tobacco product manufacturers. Prior to her current position, Diaghilev worked in the Child Support and Collections Section.
Diaghilev graduated from New England Law School and was a recipient of the Charles Hamilton Houston Full Tuition Merit Scholarship. During her tenure at law school, Diaghilev was a certified student attorney at the Public Interest Law Clinic and a legal intern at the Massachusetts Appellate Tax Board.
Diaghilev serves on the Board of Directors of The Carver Foundation and she volunteers for an asylum resettlement agency that assists families from Haiti, Afghanistan, Ukraine, Syria, Guatemala, and Ecuador.
She received her Bachelor of Arts from Clark Atlanta University and her Master of Arts from Sacred Heart University.
