Shawn-Ta Brown

Dr. Shawn-Ta Brown, PharmD is a clinical oncology pharmacist and U.S. Medical Affairs Oncology Postdoctoral Fellow with GlaxoSmithKline and Howard University College of Pharmacy. She brings years of experience treating diverse patient populations across solid tumors and hematologic malignancies, including breast, lung, gynecologic, prostate, and rare cancers.

In addition to her clinical expertise, Dr. Brown is a national thought leader, speaker, and educator. She has delivered ACPE-accredited continuing education programs at national and regional conferences, published in professional journals, and contributed to advancing oncology care through clinical trial involvement and investigational therapies.

Dr. Brown also serves as Co-Chair of the Legislative & Regulatory Affairs Committee for the National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA), where she helps shape national policy and advocates for equitable healthcare access in underrepresented communities. Her leadership reflects a commitment to bridging science, equity, and innovation to transform cancer care and expand opportunities for the next generation of healthcare professionals.
