Trishia E. Shaw, PharmD, BCPS, BCACP, FNPhA is a Clinical Associate Professor of Pharmacy Practice at Chicago State University College of Health Sciences and Pharmacy (COHSP). Dr. Shaw earned her Bachelor of Science in Biology degree from Loyola University Chicago in 2004 and her Doctor of Pharmacy Degree from the University of Illinois at Chicago College of Pharmacy in 2009. Dr. Shaw also completed the Non-Traditional PGY-1 Residency Program at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago, IL.
In her current role as a Clinical Associate Professor, Dr. Shaw currently practices as a Family Medicine Clinical Pharmacist at Cook County Health (CCH) Englewood Health Center. Dr. Shaw is a board-certified pharmacotherapy specialist and a board-certified ambulatory care pharmacist. In addition to her clinical role, she is an advocate for service to the profession and encourages students to become active in the pharmacy profession through community service and research. Dr. Shaw was recently designated a Fellow of the National Pharmaceutical Association.
Dr. Shaw is a member of several professional pharmacy organizations including the National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA), the Chicago Pharmacists Association (CPhA) and the Illinois Council of Health-Systems Pharmacists (ICHP).
