Frank North, Pharm.D., M.P.A., R.Ph. is the Immediate Past President of the National Pharmaceutical Association of the National Pharmaceutical Association (NPhA). He is licensed in Texas and Washington, DC and serves an Instructional Assistant Professor at Texas A&M University (TAMU) Irma Lerma Rangel College of Pharmacy and the inaugural Director for Interprofessional Learning in Practice for the TAMU Health Science Center’s Office of Interprofessional Practice, Education, and Research (IPER).

Dr. North earned the Doctor of Pharmacy, Master of Public Administration, and Bachelor of Science in Biology from Texas Southern University (TSU) in Houston, Texas, and completed several certificate, leadership, and diplomate programs focused on pharmacy, higher education, and civic engagement. He is a life member of NPhA, Phi Delta Chi Pharmaceutical Fraternity, Omega Psi Phi Fraternity, Inc., and is a general member of a host of professional and community-based organizations.

Dr. North is currently completing the Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Urban Higher Education at Jackson State University in Jackson, Mississippi. His mission and purpose are to achieve and maintain just and equitable representation among underrepresented minoritized groups with emphasis on African Americans/Blacks and Black men. He is a 4th generation Houston, graduate of Houston’s first high school to education Black students, Booker T. Washington, a recipient of the TSU National Alumni Association 2024 Excellence in Achievement Award in Medicine, Texas Black Expo’s 2023 Outstanding Educator – Assistant Professor level, Texas Pharmacy Association’s 2022 Distinguished Service Award, Houston’s Business Journal’s 2022 40 under 40 Award, and TAMU IPER 2021 Teaching Excellence Award.
