Representative Gina H. Curry has served Pennsylvania’s 164th Legislative District since 2021, bringing more than two decades of experience as an educator and community leader to the General Assembly. In the Pennsylvania House, she has championed policies that expand educational opportunities, improve access to affordable housing and healthcare, and strengthen economic development. A leading advocate for maternal health equity, she co-founded the Pennsylvania Black Maternal Health Caucus to address disparities in maternal and infant health outcomes. Representative Curry remains committed to advancing legislation that supports children, families, and communities across Pennsylvania. Advanced four PA MOMNIBUS 2.0 bills to the Governor’s desk, including legislation to expand midwifery practice, require Medicaid and private insurance coverage for blood pressure monitors during pregnancy and postpartum, and establish the PA Dads Matter Act.
Led breast cancer awareness and screening initiatives, including legislation and community outreach to expand access to early detection, reduce disparities in breast cancer outcomes, and improve education and preventive care for underserved communities.
