Jannelle Watson

Born and raised in California, Jannelle is a veteran government affairs and public affairs strategist that is passionate about storytelling, community building and empowering young women to seek public office. Jannelle currently leads Amazon’s local government outreach and advocacy efforts across the West Coast.

She most recently was a Director of Public Affairs, Communications and Sustainability at the Coca-Cola Company where she oversaw Government Affairs and Community Engagement for the Western region. Prior to Coca-Cola, Jannelle led public figure, creator and gaming talent engagement efforts across Meta’s family of apps (Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp and Messenger), worked at the White House on President Obama’s Community Solutions Task Force, led Constituency Group programming for the National League of Cities and served as a Small Business Advisor for the Office of Governor Edmund G. Brown Jr.

Jannelle holds an MPA from the University of Southern California and BA from the University of California, Irvine, and is a proud member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated.
