Jennifer Pierre is an accomplished attorney and digital governance professional whose career spans nearly 15 years across the public and private sectors. She currently serves as Deputy Oversight Board Liaison at Meta, where she plays a pivotal role in shaping and communicating the company’s approach to complex issues at the intersection of speech, safety, and human rights.

Prior to joining Meta, Pierre worked as Privacy & Human Rights Policy Manager at Airbnb, where she developed platform policies addressing privacy, surveillance, and protections for vulnerable populations against exploitation and abuse. Her career in advocacy and human rights began at Human Rights Watch, followed by work with HELP, a community-based organization in Haiti, where she facilitated leadership seminars designed to empower the next generation of Haitian leaders.

After earning her law degree, Pierre practiced at two prominent international law firms, honing her expertise in global legal frameworks and regulatory compliance. Her unique blend of legal acumen and human rights advocacy has positioned her as a leading voice in digital policy and platform accountability.

Pierre is a proud graduate of Bryn Mawr College, where she earned her B.A., and New York University School of Law, where she received her Juris Doctor. Throughout her career, she has combined her commitment to justice with a passion for creating digital ecosystems that respect rights and protect vulnerable communities worldwide.
