Justin McCorvey
Justin McCorvey serves as the Director of Global Government Relations at DTCC, where he leads federal engagement strategy and provides senior-level counsel on policies impacting market structure, cybersecurity, systemic risk, and the broader financial ecosystem.
In this role, Justin also serves as the liaison to the Democratic delegation of the U.S. Congress and oversees DTCC’s Political Action Committee (PAC), driving political strategy, compliance, and stakeholder engagement. Prior to joining DTCC, Justin was a manager at a leading strategy and communications consultancy, advising Fortune 500 companies, government agencies, and nonprofit organizations on high-stakes public affairs, crisis response, and DEI strategy.
His counsel helped clients navigate complex regulatory landscapes, strengthen brand trust, and engage effectively with policymakers and the public. Justin’s career spans corporate, legal, and political sectors. He has held roles supporting C-suite healthcare operations across the Southeast, served as a legal fellow in the U.S. House of Representatives focusing on trade, emerging technology, and civil rights, and provided government relations support at the state level to clients across financial services, tech, and intellectual property.
He has also been actively involved in national, state, and local political campaigns. A proud Birmingham, Alabama native, Justin is a graduate of Florida A&M University, where he earned a Bachelor’s degree in Political Science. He also holds a Juris Doctor from the University of Iowa College of Law. In addition to his professional work, Justin serves as a professor at Howard University, teaching courses in Corporate Government Relations and Judicial Process.
