Kathryn Kelly

Dr. Kathryn Kelly is a Board-Certified Internal Medicine Physician in Silver Spring, Maryland. Originally from Tampa, Florida, Dr. Kelly is a two-time Howard University graduate, a Laureate Scholar with a BS in Biology and a BA in Anthropology in 2001, and a Doctor of Medicine degree in 2007. Dr. Kelly completed her Internal Medicine Residency at Washington Hospital Center and an additional year as one of three Chief Residents from 2007-2011.

Dr. Kelly is the owner of Kelly Collaborative Medicine (KCM), focusing on patient-centered primary care since 2016. Additionally, KCM is contracted through Montgomery County to provide primary care to the individuals experiencing homelessness at numerous shelters, street homeless individuals through outreach efforts, and management of the Montgomery County Homeless Medical Respite. Dr. Kelly serves as Treasurer on the Board of Directors for Girls Health Ed, an international non-profit committed to fostering a world where girls can make informed decisions about their bodies and their health. Dr. Kelly is the Immediate Past President for the Howard University Medical Alumni Association Executive Board having helped award over $750,000 in scholarships to HUCM students as President. Dr. Kelly serves as a Commissioner on the Montgomery County Interagency Commission on Homelessness, the representative to the Montgomery Cares Advisory Board for the Montgomery County Medical Society (MCMS), and the Secretary for the MCMS.

Dr. Kelly created KCM Private Practice Solutions in 2022 to help physicians start solo practices based on her own journey in private practice. In May 2024, she incorporated KCM Cares, Inc, a non-profit focused on serving our most vulnerable populations to further her mission of health care equity and access.

Dr. Kelly is married to Jackie Matthew Kelly, Jr. (also a proud Howard University graduate) and has three children: Ajzha (29), Jackson (17), and Reagan (9), and a granddaughter, Nailah (1).
