Kimberly Harris

Kimberly Harris serves as Director of the Office of Community Impact for Prince George’s County in the Office of the County Executive. She leads a comprehensive grant strategy that integrates the County’s funding of local organizations with efforts to secure external resources, maximizing impact, equity, and return on investment for residents. In this role, she drives collaboration across government, nonprofit, and community partners to strengthen outcomes and expand opportunities countywide.

Previously, Kimberly was Director of Community Health and Social Impact at CareFirst BlueCross BlueShield, one of the nation’s largest not-for-profit healthcare organizations. There, she managed multi-million-dollar philanthropic investments and advanced strategies addressing health disparities across Maryland, Washington, D.C., and Northern Virginia. Her leadership shaped initiatives in maternal health, housing stability, and workforce development while advising executives on aligning corporate responsibility with organizational and financial priorities.

A recognized leader in social impact, corporate responsibility, and population health innovation, Kimberly was honored with the Washington Business Journal’s 2024 Diversity in Business Award. She holds a B.A. in Psychology from Morgan State University and an M.A. in Counseling Psychology from Bowie State University.
