Larry Williams II has dedicated his career to ensuring justice through zealous, competent, and effective advocacy for individuals accused of criminal offenses. He serves as a full-time Assistant Public Defender with the Harris County Public Defender’s Office in Houston, Texas, where he represents clients facing some of the most serious, violent, and aggravated felony charges. Known for his tireless commitment to fairness and due process, Williams has built a reputation as a skilled litigator and trusted advocate for the underserved.
In addition to his courtroom work, Williams is deeply engaged in the broader legal community. He is an active member of the Texas Criminal Defense Lawyers Association, Harris County Criminal Lawyers Association, the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, the National Criminal Defense College, and Gideon’s Promise. Through these affiliations, he continues to sharpen his expertise while contributing to the advancement of criminal defense practice nationwide.
Beyond the law, Williams is committed to service, mentorship, and fraternity. He is a proud member of Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. and a Prince Hall Mason, carrying forward traditions of leadership and brotherhood.
While his professional achievements are significant, Williams considers his greatest accomplishment to be his role as father to his young son, Larry III. Fatherhood inspires his drive to fight for justice, mentor others, and create a legacy of service both in and outside the courtroom.
