Neema Muderhwa

As in-house counsel at Quantum Computing Inc. (QCi), Neema Muderhwa works at the intersection of law, technology, and innovation, helping support the legal needs of a company operating in the rapidly evolving quantum technology space. Her work includes supporting QCi’s intellectual property efforts and collaborating with engineers, inventors, business leaders, and outside counsel to help protect emerging technologies and navigate legal matters in the United States and internationally.

Originally from the Democratic Republic of Congo, Neema brings a distinctly global perspective to her work. She is fluent in English and French, with proficiency in Spanish, allowing her to work across languages, cultures, and borders. Her international background has shaped not only how she approaches the practice of law, but also how she understands the importance of access, opportunity, and representation.

Neema earned her Juris Doctor from North Carolina Central University School of Law, her Master of Arts in Political Science from Georgia State University, and her Bachelor of Science in Economics from Middle Tennessee State University.

Beyond her legal career, mentorship and community remain deeply important to Neema. She is passionate about supporting Black women pursuing careers in law, offering the kind of guidance, encouragement, and access that can make a profession feel more attainable. She also dedicates time to helping African international students navigate their studies and lives in the United States, drawing from her own experience of building a life and career far from home.
