Rebecca Scaife

Rebecca Scaife is a strategic advisor with experience at the intersection of law, public policy, and civil rights. She represents clients in internal investigations and complex litigation matters. She provides strategic counsel to clients responding to high-profile corporate crises and advises on government investigations and congressional oversight.

She conducts racial equity and civil rights audits for major tech companies and other large organizations to combat issues such as discriminatory hiring practices, voter misinformation, algorithmic bias, and ad targeting. She has significant experience conducting sensitive internal investigations and making policy recommendations following reported allegations of sexual misconduct, harassment, and racial discrimination.

Her nonprofit advising practice includes representing several of the largest private foundations, community foundations, and boards on civil rights matters and government enforcement to respond to recent Presidential Executive Orders, congressional investigations, threats to revoke 501c3 status, and litigation attacks.

Her litigation practice focuses on representing companies in government regulatory matters and commercial matters at various stages of litigation.

She served as a law clerk to the Honorable Nina Morrison (EDNY). She also served as the Founding Director of Legal Strategy and Partnerships for the Young Black Lawyers Young Black Lawyers’ Organizing Coalition (YBLOC), a network of young Black lawyers who engage in grassroots voter protection efforts to empower the Black electoral voice.

She was recognized on Best Lawyers: Ones to Watch 2026 List and was selected as a National Bar Association’s Advancement Academy fellow.

In law school, she was a legal research and education policy extern for the Urban Institute. Prior to law school, she taught second grade in DC with Teach for America and then worked on inclusion policy at DC Public Schools.

She’s a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc.
