Tyne´ Nicole Mattox

From the age of eight, Tyne’ N. Mattox knew she was destined to pursue justice through law—especially for those who couldn’t afford top-tier representation. Raised by an Army veteran father and a business-savvy mother, Tyne embraced the values of discipline and determination early on. These principles laid the foundation for her legal path that would unfold over the next decade.

A graduate of Southern University Law Center (J.D., 2014), Tyne built her career on the belief that quality legal counsel should be accessible to all. After licensing in Texas in 2016, she joined and eventually became a Partner at Mattox Law Firm PLLC, where she also serves as Managing Attorney.

Renowned in the Houston legal community, Tyne specializes in personal injury law—standing firm for clients against powerful insurance companies and seeking fair outcomes for plaintiffs. Her dedication and legal skill have been recognized through multiple selections to the Super Lawyers Rising Stars list for 2023 through 2025.

A committed community advocate, Tyne maintains active involvement in professional associations such as the State Bar of Texas, the Houston Lawyers Association, Phi Alpha Delta Law Fraternity, and Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority.
