Tyne´ Mattox

Tyne’ N. Mattox is an attorney, entrepreneur, and community leader committed to advocacy, service, and creating opportunities for others. A first-generation college graduate, she earned her B.A. from Florida Memorial University, Miami’s only HBCU, and her J.D. from Southern University Law Center.

Tyne’ is Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Mattox Law Firm, PLLC, a Houston personal injury firm celebrating 10 years in 2026. Her practice is dedicated to advocating for injured individuals and families throughout Texas. She leads legal strategy, operations, client experience, and firm growth. During her career, she has served more than 300 clients and contributed to millions of dollars in case results. She was selected to Texas Super Lawyers Rising Stars from 2023 through 2026 and recognized by The National Black Lawyers as a Top 40 Under 40 attorney.

Committed to developing future lawyers, Tyne’ helps bar takers prepare for the Texas Bar Exam. She and her team also provide summer interns hands-on exposure to practicing law and operating a law firm. She co-founded Cocktails & Connections: Legal Edition, a quarterly initiative connecting professionals to build relationships and become resources for one another.

Tyne’ founded the TK Davis Foundation to support veterans and co-launched an annual Christmas fundraiser benefiting nonprofits. Her service includes the PTO Board, Spouses of Houston Barristers Board, her school district’s Educational Improvement Committee, The R.O.C.K. WOI, and Kinstead Farms in South Africa. She is a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Incorporated®, Junior League of Houston, and Jack and Jill of America, Inc. She also mentors young girls through Daughters of Destiny.

A wife and mother of three boys, Tyne’ credits God, her parents, family, and the spiritual covering of Dr. Dana Carson for shaping her leadership. With faith at the center, she measures success by the lives she impacts, the doors she opens for others, and the legacy she leaves.
