Yladrea Nicole Drummond

Yladrea Nicole Drummond is the Managing Attorney of Drummond Law Group, where she focuses her practice on Criminal Defense, Civil Rights, and Contract Litigation. Licensed to practice in Texas, the District of Columbia, and Maryland, she is one of the few Black female defense attorneys in Maryland and is highly sought after for her vigorous advocacy and successful track record in criminal defense.

A two-time best-selling author, Ms. Drummond dedicates her life’s work to fight for those who cannot advocate for themselves, always placing people over profit. She is known for pushing the line with her relentless pursuit of justice and for being the attorney who demands that the State prove its case beyond speculation—because in her courtroom, no one gets convicted on guesswork.

A native of Houston, Texas, Ms. Drummond earned her bachelor’s degree in Political Science from Texas State University in 2012 and proudly graduated with the Class of 2015 from Southern University Law Center. She is not only a passionate advocate in the courtroom but also a devoted wife and the mother of two boys. In her mind, she is a forever contestant on Top Chef—but in the end, she’s working to be the Top Justice Warrior.
